During the month of August, we organized panel discussions with local political leaders, mayors from the 9 municipalities of the Polog region: Tetovo, Gostivar, Brvenica, Zhelina, Vrapchishte, Jegunovce, Bogovina, Mavrovo and Rostusha, Tearce.

In the meetings with the local municipal councils, we informed the representatives about our projects and activities. We were warmly welcomed by the mayor of Gostivar, Mr. Arben Taravari and the mayor of Zhelino Mr. Blerim Sejdiu, mayor of Bogovine Mr Albon Xhemaili, the representative of Vrapchishte Mr. Shinasi Salihi. They were all open and willing to discuss the role of women in politics, the realities in their own municipalities and the forseen changes.
