ILPP successfully completed the first week of the “Next Gen Career Up” training program in Skopje, engaging young participants in interactive sessions focused on career development, soft skills, and labor market readiness.

The training marked the completion of three days of intensive and interactive sessions, where participants were actively involved in activities aimed at enhancing their personal and professional development.

During the first day, the focus was placed on defining career objectives and understanding the fundamentals of building a professional profile. Participants explored how to set SMART career goals, create an online job profile, and analyze job advertisements by identifying key information relevant to their career paths. They also worked on developing their career portfolio, including drafting CVs and motivation letters.

The second day was dedicated to strengthening participants’ practical skills in preparing and presenting their CVs and motivation letters. Through guided exercises and group work, participants improved their application materials and gained a better understanding of how to present themselves effectively to potential employers.

On the third day, the training focused on the interviewing process. Participants learned about different stages of a job interview, including preparation before the interview, behavior during the interview, and follow-up after the interview. The sessions concluded with mock interviews, providing participants with hands-on experience and valuable feedback.

The sessions fostered collaboration, open discussion, and peer learning, creating a dynamic and engaging environment. The “Next Gen Career Up” program is part of ILPP’s ongoing commitment to supporting young people in their transition from education to the labor market, equipping them with practical skills and knowledge for their future careers.
