The Institute for Leadership and Public Policy (ILPP) successfully delivered the first week of the “Next Gen Career Up” training program in Tetovo, engaging students from Tetovo and the wider Polog region in practical sessions focused on career development and employability skills.
The first week of the “Next Gen Career Up” training in Tetovo brought together students from Tetovo and the wider Polog region, who actively participated in three days of structured and interactive learning.
The program started with sessions focused on self-assessment and career planning, where participants explored how to define their career goals and better understand their professional direction. They were introduced to key concepts related to building an online professional profile and identifying relevant opportunities in the job market.
During the following sessions, participants worked on developing essential job application tools, including CVs and motivation letters. Through practical exercises and group work, they improved their ability to present their skills and experiences in a clear and professional manner.
The final day focused on the interviewing process, where participants gained practical insights into interview preparation, communication strategies, and professional conduct. The training concluded with mock interviews, allowing participants to apply their knowledge in real-life scenarios and receive constructive feedback.
Throughout the training, emphasis was placed on interaction, peer learning, and practical application, creating a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
Through the “Next Gen Career Up” program, ILPP continues to support students and young people in Tetovo and the Polog region by equipping them with the skills and confidence needed to successfully transition from education to the labor market.
