The Institute for Leadership and Public Policy (ILPP) has successfully concluded the 8-day training program “Next Gen Career Up” in Skopje, marking the completion of an intensive and impactful learning journey for young participants.
Building on the foundations established during the first week, the second phase of the training further strengthened participants’ competencies by focusing on advanced career development skills, personal growth, and navigating real-life professional challenges.
Throughout the final days, participants engaged in interactive sessions addressing key topics such as overcoming career obstacles, decision-making in career paths, and understanding the importance of adaptability in a rapidly changing labor market. Special attention was given to empowering young people—especially women—to confidently pursue their ambitions and break barriers in their professional journeys.
Participants also explored strategies for choosing career paths that are both fulfilling and financially sustainable. Through practical exercises, group discussions, and real-life case studies, they gained insights into aligning their skills and interests with market demands and future opportunities.
A highlight of the program was the emphasis on communication, networking, and self-presentation skills. Participants had the opportunity to further refine their confidence in professional settings, preparing them to actively engage in job markets and professional environments.
Over the course of the 8 days, the training fostered a dynamic environment of learning, peer support, and active participation. Participants not only enhanced their practical skills but also built confidence, motivation, and a clearer vision for their future careers.
The “Next Gen Career Up” program reflects ILPP’s continued commitment to empowering youth and supporting their transition from education to employment by equipping them with essential tools for success in today’s competitive labor market.
