Training on Mental Health
May 08, 2026
Thirty-six young people from the Pollog region, including students from primary and secondary schools, successfully completed a two-day training on the topic “Mental Health Among Youth.”
Mental health is an issue of growing importance for young people and society as a whole. The training provided participants with valuable knowledge and practical insights, encouraging open discussion on mental well-being, emotional resilience, and the importance of seeking support when needed.
It is encouraging to see young people recognizing mental health as a real and significant issue. At the same time, it remains the responsibility of all stakeholders—families, schools, institutions, and communities—to address this topic with care, understanding, and continuous commitment.
A healthy youth population is the foundation of a healthier, stronger, and more resilient society.
The training was organized within the project “Empowering Youth, Promoting Civic Engagement in the Pollog Region,” supported by the Swiss Government through the Civica Mobilitas program.
The project is implemented in partnership by the Institute for Leadership and Public Policy (ILPP), Association for Democratic Initiatives (ADI), Center for Education and Development (CED), and Initiative for Social Change (InSoC).
