Four-Day Mentorship Training Brings Together Over 30 Professionals to Support Youth Career Development
May 14, 2026
More than 30 distinguished professionals from the academic community, including professors, lecturers, and experts from schools and universities in Tetovo, Skopje, Kumanovo, and surrounding areas, successfully completed a four-day Mentorship Training organized within the framework of the Next Gen Career Up project.
The training served as an important platform for knowledge exchange, capacity building, and strengthening the role of mentorship in supporting young people as they navigate their educational and professional pathways. Participants explored effective mentoring approaches and discussed ways to contribute to the personal and career development of future generations.
Beyond the training itself, the event marked another significant step toward building a strong network of mentors and professionals committed to empowering youth and creating new opportunities for their growth and success.
By investing in mentorship, the project aims to strengthen connections between experienced professionals and young people, helping bridge the gap between education and the labor market while fostering long-term social and economic development.
The four-day Mentorship Training and the emerging mentor network represent one of the key pillars of the “Next Gen Career Up” project, supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in North Macedonia, which continues to grow into a powerful model of collaboration, development, and sustainable impact.
