FROM IDEA TO ACTION: FOUR-DAY ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FROM THE POLLOG REGION

Sep 24, 2026

The Institute for Leadership and Public Policy (ILPP) successfully concluded a four-day Entrepreneurship Training for more than 35 high school students from the Pollog region, providing participants with an intensive and practical learning experience focused on entrepreneurship, creativity, and business development.

Throughout the training, participants explored how to transform ideas into action by identifying real-life problems, developing potential business ideas, and exploring ways to turn those ideas into viable opportunities.

A key part of the training focused on business model development, where participants worked on structuring their ideas, understanding different elements of a business model, and considering how their proposed solutions could respond to real needs and opportunities.

The participants also had the opportunity to develop and present their ideas through pitching exercises, strengthening their communication, presentation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while receiving feedback throughout the process.

The four-day program created an interactive learning environment in which young people were encouraged to think creatively, take initiative, collaborate with their peers, and approach challenges from an entrepreneurial perspective.

The training reflects the entrepreneurship component of the NextGen CareerUp project, which aims to strengthen entrepreneurial skills among young people and support their interest in business development, start-ups, and future career opportunities. The project also envisages entrepreneurship bootcamps and pre-incubation support designed to provide young people with practical experience and mentorship for sustainable business development.

Through activities such as this training, ILPP continues to support young people in developing the skills, confidence, and initiative needed to shape their professional futures and explore opportunities within their communities.

The Entrepreneurship Training was organized within the NextGen CareerUp project, implemented by the Institute for Leadership and Public Policy (ILPP) with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in North Macedonia.
