During the month of September, the Institute organized panel disscusions with citizens from the municipalities of Pollog: Tetovo, Gostivar, Brvenica, Zhelina, Vrapçisht, Jegunovce, Bogovina, Mavrovo and Rostusha, Tearce. With the local elections coming up, citizens were excited to share their views on women participation in the local political life. They contributed with a positive attitude and freely discussed the factors which influence the involvement of women in decision-making processes.

The final meeting took place in the municipality of Tetovo, where the guest panelists were Bardhyl Jashari and our very own executive director Pranvera Kasami. With the panel discussions we aimed at providing a voice to the citizens and not only drew attention to the challenges faced by women in politics but encouraged participation as well.
